Hi,

I'm developing a site where you can insert an image directly into the "top bar right" menu where is the WPML for language change.

I am trying to activate the child-theme but I can not make it work. How can it be done?

do you mean to put the background image behind the right top bar? If that's what you mean, please send us link to page where you would like to do this so we can have a look on it first.

I just want to know how to activate the child theme because I can not understand why changing the css files and inserting them in the child theme directory (with correct path) does not work.

Child theme need to be installed an activated exactly the same way as you did with original, parent theme. However, there is no need to activate child theme if you have some minor css changes to be done because custom css should work from Theme Options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section. So if your css does not work, please give more details about what exactly does not work with link to page where you have a problem so we can have a look on it closer and check what might be the reason.

Ok, we can see what you mean now but this requires files customization unfortunately and if you want to put an image in header, you need to play with header.php and includes/header-top-area.php files.

It was cache issue. We already cleared cache and it's fine now.
