Content_Link Shortcode adding SCROLL to link is reloading page

Using Content Link shortcode like this:

[content_link title="LEARN" icon="icon-book-open" link="#learn" target="_self" class="scroll" download=""]

Instead of scrolling down the page to the #learn section it is opening a new window... Can I not use the "scroll" class on the content_link shortcode to scroll down the page?

I figured this out on my own, in case anyone else has this issue:

Don't add "_self", just leave the field blank, removing "_blank".
