Social Media Icons not working

Hi Support,

Hope you're well and had a great Christmas.

My social media icons on the footer of my page are not working / linking, please may you help?

I want to add an Instagram icon and remove the Google+ and Facebook icons too.

could you be more specific and explain what exactly does not work? Would be great if you can include link to site where it does not work as well.

Hello

I have the same problem. First I made a code like in the footer widget, but then the copyright line was also linking to instagram. Then I wrote the social links into theme options > social media. But they wasn't shown up in the Footer at all.

Then I went do menu & pasted the social links into the Social Menu, well now I can see Facebook & Instagram, but I haven't got the chance to choose an icon for, it's missing.

The social media icons do not click through to anything. Even though I've set them using the Betheme options settings.

@laurencebohmer You set those icons using shortcodes or just custom code and for each item you set # instead of the link and that's why they do not work. What you need to do is replace # with the right links.
