Add feature images to search results

Hi,

Can display of feature images be added to the search results pages as part of the default theme versus me having to create a child page to do so?

Hi,

featured images can not be added for the search results page because there are different kind of pages and many of them simply doesn't have such image. Only excerpts can be displayed on search results page.

Okay, just an FYI, I have updated my search.php and added it to the child theme so the feature images will display.
