Different Background in content for mobile version

Hi 

I Have a Parallax Background in my start page that needs to be switched off in the mobile and tablet version (or else the padding is too big).

[Links visible only for registered users]

Is it possible to put a static image in the gab between the wraps in the mobile version, without showing in the desktop mode?
