I was wondering if there was a way to use the blog item in the builder but instead of showing 2 columns only show one column. For example if you go to the following URL: http://dev.alligatorhall.com/cooking/ you will see the left side with a category it displays 2 columns, but we would like to only show one.

Could you tell us how did you put those items? We complete don't get what you did there.

In the Muffin Builder, I have added 4 blog items. They are displaying 4 different categories we have grouped blog posts in. We could like to show on the URL I provided with 4 columns, each one representing a different category. 

So for example this URL: http://dev.alligatorhall.com/lifestyle/ there are four columns displayed of posts, we would like the http://dev.alligatorhall.com/cooking/ to look the same as the URL above, but each column be a different category. 

In the blog item in the builder there is only selection for 2,3,4,5 and 6 columns, but we would like to only display 1 if possible.

Ok, we see what you mean now. So to make those items full width, you need to use the following css:

.posts_group.masonry.tiles.col-2 .post-item { width: 100% !important; }
