When I make a post there is a shadow image of a person next to the author. Is there a way to hide that image or even replace the image with my own custom image?

Thanks for the link. If you mean user icon before the author name, then you can remove this icon with:

.single-post .post-meta .author-date .author i.icon-user { display: none !important; }

There is also a clock there as well. Could you send me a code to remove that as well?
