Screen-width picture above content and sidebar, Snapshot theme

Hi guys,

currently I'am struggling with the sidebar in my SNAPSHOT Theme.

What I want to achive is, that I have a screenwidth image as a second header above the content an especially above the sidebar.
Tried a lot, but I'am new to Wordpress/ Betheme and need some help.

Right now I#am pretty unhappy because the Sidebar is just connected to the header menu.
