Portfolio thumbnail image height

Hi, I have included a portfolio slider within a page, see here: http://valekitchensandbedrooms.com/newsite/kitchens-armagh/

You will see that the image thumbnails have varying heights.  All images have the same aspect ratio?!  Can you have a look please and tell me how to ensure that all thumbnails have the same height?? Could you plese explain how the resize/crop of thumbnails functions works?

which images has different height? We checked and you can see yourself on http://pasteboard.co/serwZ9sjo.png that all is fine.
