Fancy Link Scroll Class

I am trying to get the smooth scrolling effect with the fancy link shortcode below.

Also, when I add the class to the shortcode it only allows the first jump link to go down the page. If I scroll back up to the top then the none of the other jump links work.

Hi,

to set up smooth scroll, except scroll class, you need to activate One Page option for page where those links are.

I do have the One Page option activated for that page, and the smooth scrolling is still not happening.

Ok, we found other deficiencies. Could you tell us where did you set ID name for the sections? Getting started has #getting-started link but there is no such ID for the first section what you can see yourself on http://pasteboard.co/2Snh6YNBx.png

We suggest to take a look into the doc http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#menu where we explained how to set up one page site with proper ID names for the sections.

For the getting started section I have <a name="getting-started"></a> which when you click the fancy link for getting started it goes right to that section. But not with the smooth scroll effect.

I am not looking to create a different menu for that page, I just have a block of the fancy links that I want to use for the on page navigation.

I tried adding http://kcd.consultingandcreative.com/knowledge-center/#getting-started to the Custom | ID item in the section box, and that resulted without the smooth scroll effect as well.

I figured it out. I had to change the anchor links from using the "name" attribute to "id" and that solved the problem.

This is wrong then because if you call ID with the link like #getting-started your html should be <a id="getting-started"></a> and not the name as you did.
