Header Background static image

Hi

I am using modern header type as per theme default,  and would like to  use a single image instead of a slider.

using that I need to increase the min height from 250  to view the full picture.    this then causes problem on mobile and tablets

how can i make a static image responsive and still show the full picture ( my inital instinct was add additional min height to responsive media queries   however this cuts the image off and does not shrink it.

How can i make the background image on the header  fully responsive just like the slider does

Hi,

we are sorry but there is no way to keep proportions of static image on desktop, not mobile. Header is always above the image and that's why is always taller on mobile. The only possibility is to use Slider Revolution with HERO style (single slide).

Hi ok thanks for clarifying,    The hero is an option but i was thinking about page load resources and not having to load a slider on each page.

I'll look into the hero option,

Hero is the only option we have and there is no other workaround.
