Unnecessary padding on default theme above, and below logo

Hello, Just purchased today, and making some nice progress, would really like to know how to get rid of this unnecessary padding

update, got rid of space below the logo with a different layout style, and padding above main container, 

with custom CSS of

.layout-boxed

{ padding: 0px 0;}

But would nice to be able to control this in the theme options, not with additional CSS, am I missing something, or is there some reason why someone would want to waste 25px of space at the top of the site?

Hi,

This is just how this template was created. You can disable this in theme options>global>advanced and in the other section check the Boxed layout: Remove margin
