Help needed with Sidebar Menu

Great theme!

I have an issue with my site, the Sidebar Menu on pages collapse/close automatically after a new page loads (they dont stay open). This is troublesome because I have many submenu, and sub-submenu items (depth of 4 in total), so it is confusing for the user to navigate if the menus don't stay open. 

If the user is on a page that is a submenu item on the sidebar menu, the submenu item cannot be seen at all because the menu closes automatically.

Is there a custom CSS I can use to force the menu from collapsing automatically once it is open? Please help!
