Exclude category on Homepage - Blog shortcode

Hello there,

we're trying to exclude posts from a specific category to show on sc_blog theme shortcode. 
Is there anyway we can exclude it on theme-shortcodes.php for example? Or anywhere?

we tried changing the args parameter to add category__not_in but no luck.

Hi,

Sorry but such file changes are not supported, maybe a better way of doing this is just by creating another category and not addins those posts.
