Repeating content on different pages

Is it possible to use repeat muffin builder content on pages, but only edit in one place like a widget?

Let's say I have a full width box that I want to repeat on every product page.

Thanks. I tried that I have put the layout togther as a template and saved. How do I now use that template on a page?

I can do that now by choosing template from under the muffin builder on pages, but the template content is copied and doesn;t update when you edit the template.

Is there a way to have a piece of content that is shared on different pages, but editable in one place so that when it is edited the changes show wherever the content is shared?

Edit the page and under the muffin builder select the custom layout.

I don't think Layouts is what I'm looking for. 

I am looking to create a single piece of content using muffin builder that can be shared across different areas of the site. 

Then when I edit the content it updates wherever it is displayed.

So for example I have a highlight box on all my product pages that I only have to edit once and it will update them all.

This is not possible, you have to change it on each page.
