changing responsive breakpoints

edited April 2017 in Other
I want to change 768 mobile to tablet breakpoint to 960.
Particularly to remove whole page wrap padding appear at that interval
and
to provide 1 column view at that interval.

If you provide a solution I would be very pleased. Thank you.

  • Hi,

what you ask for, requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact with your web developer. The policy says:

Item support does not include services to modify or extend the item beyond the original features, style and functionality described on the item page. For customization services that will help you tailor the item to your specific requirements, we recommend contacting the author to see if they privately offer paid customisation services or checking out the great service providers on Envato Studio.

So we are sorry but we can not do any exceptions and we need to follow the same policy as the rest of community.

P.S. The file, where you can play with css breakpoints is responsive.css file.

    Thanks!

OK. I am aware of your support policy and reviewed  as much discussion as I can with similar answer. But some of them belongs to more than 2 years ago. Many things might be changed during that time.
    But you can prepare a fixed answer to copy/paste such FAQ. I dont ask you to customize it for me. I asked to show a path/steps how to do it. Now; you can say for instance;

    - change responsive.css (as you kindly said)
    - whether I can do it on child theme or not? (if it is possible on child theme) add those code lines to your function.php and css/responsive.css to child theme directory...
    - target those id, class, that media queries
    do the rest by yourself...

I understood you have a busy and boring job. But the more you offer solutions to people, the less they engage you with empty questions, I guess.

anyway thanks for at least responding
