I want that my product on the productslider on the homepage have an external link. How is this possible?

Why is this not possible? Every webshop can do that in a product slider. Which document do I need to change in Filezilla and which link can I change than? You know this, right? Please help me with it, I need this often and I don't want to work with an extern plugin for it!
