1. I really hope this is not your last answer on this. I believe that fixed centered menu would be something standard available, can you agree?
On my site: http://woordgieter.nl/ - I am happy with the centered menu - I love how on the homepage the menu is below the slider - But then the sticky menu is noisy how it pops up.
I could make a special layout header for the homepage. And then for the rest I would need fixed (and center)
