Where to put meta description and keywords in each post?

Where to put meta description and keywords in each post? I want to optimize posts without using plugins like Yoast. Theme 'Blogger 960'.

Hi,

When you edit a single post you can see the SEO fields at the bottom of the page. You can put theme there.
