Current Menu Item | Active Link won't sync on single page site

I've seen this issue reported before but never solved.

I'm using a single page site option but with some sections, Current Menu Item and Active Link are not in sync.

Check IDs and are correct. Check in Firefox html mode (CTRL+U) and there are no apparent html errors.

if you click "contact" twice while in the section, the active links will sync.

No cache.

It's not working on Edge nor Firefox.

Curiously it works fine on Chrome.

Just click the links a couple of times.

Go to testimonials then contact and so on.

Hi,
Actually the testimonials lights up for a moment but because you have to set the menu accordingly to the sections. So it should be about - portfolio-testimonials-contact

What do you mean the sections shoud be about - portfolio-testimonials-contact?

They are that way. About will be in a separate page.

BTW: changed section order to about - portfolio-testimonials-contact and still the same error

I just meant that the order of the menu items was not the same as the sections. We tested it on many browsers(chrome,safari,firefox and edge) and it works fine. We really cannot find any bugs here.

This was even tested on mac/windows OS

What browser are you using (version) and OS?

Internet Explorer 11

Firefox 53 32 bits version
