Is there a way to add the search function to the action bar?

Wondering if it is possible to add the search icon (magnifying glass) and function to the action bar.

The client has seven menu items so adding the search icon and function to the top bar messes up the layout on a tablet - the search icon either does not appear at all or creates a second line which messes up the header layout on a tablet screen.

If the search icon could be added to the action bar, to the right of the social media icons, that would work well for this client.

Sorry I can't give you a url, but the site is not live yet.

Hi,

the search can only be enabled in the top right bar or in the sidebars. THere is no possibility to set it in the action bar.
