Hover Color Item Issues

Hi there, 

I have issues with the hover color item added on my homepage. Any time i edit the homepage, the hover color item background colors re-default to blue - when I have specifically cleared these out. (even though I didn't make changes to this section). Hoping you can help troubleshoot?
