Hide a sidebar on mobile, or hide footer one a single page

HI there. I have a sidebar used on one page, my home page. It has some duplicate content as the footer though. So I'd like to either:

1. Hide the sidebar on mobile.

2. This one would be more ideal, hide the footer on a single page (most themes I use have this option now).

Could you let me know which solution is doable?
