 Hallo, We have bought the wordpress Betheme at the end of January and we installed the Betheme.zip. We have build our new homepage with wordpress Betheme and our new homepage is already online. Now we heard that we also should have installed the Betheme child.zip. We didn't now that. We did not install the Childtheme.zip. What can we do now? Can we still install the child theme?? Does that have effects on our homepage if we now install the child theme?

    Hi,
    If you did not make any changes to the files you do not need to worry. but if you did change the files directly (by files i mean theme files like: header.php or style.css) you will need to use the child theme or else the changes will get overwritten on the next update.
    Just install the child theme and activate it, update only the parent theme. All of your theme options + content will be the same ( one database) only the sidebars will reset, by that I mean you will have to insert the widgets again.
