4 Column portfolio

Is it possible to create a 4 column portfolio listing page?

I can create a 4 column flat but I don't like the look of it, i like the look of the grid layout. 

Is it possible to make the thumbnail pics a bit smaller and make it a 4 column layout?

Also is it easy to remove the link feature. I just want to use this feature as an image gallery, not for portfolio work. On that note, is there an ability to scroll through the gallery via the lightbox that comes up (i.e. get to the next picture using directional arrows instead of closing lightbox and choosing another portfolio item to view?

No, it is not possible because we do not have none of those features. We'll consider them.

I'll let you off this time It seems to look Ok with a sidebar on it.

If I wanted to, could I use the default wordpress gallery option instead? Would it cause any conflict?

As I'm only using it for a image gallery, the portfolio stuff could be considered "overkill". But then I think I would lose the category filters....
