Is it possible to have a transparent navigation menu with a youtube video as its background folks? IF so can you advise/ instruct on how

Yes, it is possible. For that use "Transparent" header style and create slider behind using Revolution Slider. When slider is ready, in "Page options" section while page creating/editing you can select right slider for page.
