Reducing speed of parallax effect

Hi,

Is it possible to make the parallax effect on my homepage slower? I've noticed that at some browser widths, the content seems to run out of background in places because it slides over what's underneath it rather fast.

This is not possible, the image is just too small, use a bigger image.

I do not know what you mean because you did not explain what you had in mind.
We cannot make the parallax slower and if the background is running out of space then you need to add a larger image.

The background for parallax needs to be tall so that it can scroll.

Thanks. This is going to be a bit difficult to achieve in my particular case. However, I've noticed that it's only a problem when the browser width is narrow. I then tested the same page on my tablet in portrait orientation, and noticed that parallax is disabled there. This got me wondering whether the following could be a possible solution:

Is there any custom css I could use to disable the parallax effect when PC browsers are narrower than a certain width?

No sorry it all depends on the image, again, please use a bigger image.
