Duplicated section gets deleted

Hi – firstly, love your theme! I need your help though please....I am busy adding multiple rows of staff photos but when I duplicate the section and preview the page, they are deleted.
What I did was create a section containing six wraps each contain an image and text. I then duplicated the section and changed the images and data – worked fine. When I tried duplicating it again, some of the information disappeared... more duplications simply don't appear, they are deleted. Please advise,

Hi,

please go to your FTP, create php file with phpinfo() function inside and send us link to that file so we can have a look on your server settings. The problem is probably related to limits but to be sure which one is the reason, we need that link. Hi,
Please increase your php version on the server, as well as the max_input_vars and memory_limit value.
You may need to contact your hosting provider to change it.

Since the latest version Wordpress requires PHP ver. 7.0
https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
The problem on your website is caused by low value of max_input_vars which is currently 1000
Please increase it. You may need to contact your hosting provider.

Hi... my hosting service provider has upgraded to PHP ver, 7 but he says that the max_input_vars and memory limit has to be configured in my Worpress config files... I have no idea what to do. Please could you help?

Tell him that this is the local value and you want him to set the master value to 5000, it is still 1000. If he tell you to change it then ask him how. What he said to you is not true and it is very unprofessional since wordpress config files have nothing to do with this.

I seem to have it sorted. I created a .user.ini file with the increased max_input_vars and its now working... hope I did it all correctly – could you check, please http://lunginstitute.co.za/demo_site/phpinfo.php
The local value column reflects the change but not the master one - is that a problem?

This is not a problem but the master value is still 1000 which may cause problems in the future, we will see.
