1 page website issues with adding another page

Hello,

We have a 1 page website using anchors in the menu and everything worked well. We added a new page for e-commerce and now when someone clicks on one of the anchors in the menu, it no longer stays highlighted because it's a link. We want it to be highlighted so people know what section they are on in the header.
