"The connection was reset" when trying to paste Google Analytics Code and Save changes

Hey,

This is a weird error, I can't insert Google Analytics Code because when I try to do so in Muffin Options > Getting Started > Advanced > Google Analytics, it keeps "loading" for a while and then the browser displays "The connection was reset". I've tried like ten times...

However, if I Save changes modifying other options or not pasting anything it works smoothly.

What can I do?

Hi,

to be honest we have no idea because this is not related with theme. Maybe the code is wrong or maybe your server is not able to parse the content while saving. But we really have no idea what could be the reason. I tried with Chrome instead of Firefox and voilà! It got saved successfully.

So this is definitely weird. In case we already checked also in Chrome (on 3 different computers) and of course works fine so we have no idea what with your Chrome version it is not possible.

I tried with Chrome instead of Firefox ,so the problem was originated in Firefox!!! (version 35 to be precise, and Windows 8.1). And it was fine with Chrome Thanks for checking it, and let me know if you want to test more. But if it is an issue no one had so far perhaps it's not worth spending the time since I solved it.
