Clients - how to apply filter with categories

Hi,

I would like to replicate the behavior of this page http://tradas.com/wp-staging2017/en/clients/ but with your theme. 

In this page (n.b. for which another theme is used), there is a list of clients logo + url (as in your client post type) but also a filter (menu in the left side-bar) that allows to "play" with the visibility of the logo. 

How could I replicate this with your theme please? (via the client post type? via portfolio trick? other?)
