Muffin Builder stripping HTML tags from Visual Editor

Using Muffin Builder, when I add certain HTML tags to the visual editor, they are stripped out after saving - i.e. <h2><span>some text</span></h2>

How can I stop this from happening?

So you mean that you want to have the HTML tags visible? Or you save then and they are not working?
You do not add HTML tags in the visual mode, switch to the text mode.

I know that you do not add HTML tags in visual mode. What I'm saying is:

in text mode, I input <h2><span>some text</span></h2>

after saving, the code is now <h2>some text</h2>
