Is there any way to put portfolio titles on the image instead of "hover" or below image?

For portfolio titles/descriptions, they are usually placed below the image or it shows when you hover over.

Is there any way to place the title/description ON the image to save space but still have the title show automatically without hovering over? Example like the image below.

Try by going to theme options>global>general and changing the caption setting in the image frame section.
