Missing Portfolio Template and Can't Create Portfolio Page

So I can't for the life of me figure out why I can't get the portfolio page to display on the page that I want it to. When I try to change the template to the portfolio page, there is no template that I can select.

Also, when I go to the theme options and change the portfolio page to be the page that I want it to be, nothing happens. Please, please, please help me!

Hi,
first create the portfolio items, then go to theme options>blog,portfolio&shop>portfolio and set the main portfolio page there.

I did that, but it does not show up still. I have been pulling my hair out trying to get this to work! Is there anything else you can think that is stopping this from working?

Please send a link to your portfolio page. Also send screenshots of the settings and that you have any portfolio items created.

I just ended up reinstalling and redoing the whole template since I figured somehow it must have gotten screwed up. It is working now with a clean installation.
