Plugin update issues

Hi. Updating to latest version, I can't get the layer slider and revolution slider updates. I had no issues updating VC. WP. Theme, all other plugins at latest version.

Layer slider

6.1.6Installed version:

6.5.5Available version:

"Update package not available."

Slider Revolution

5.3.1.5Installed version:

5.4.5.1Available version:

The plugin is at the latest version.

Please advise,

Hi,

It worked for layer slider. 

Revolution slider did not work. It says it's already at the latest version, but it's at 5.3.1.5 and 5.4.5.1 is supposed to be available. I cannot reactivate.

I ended up having to delete it and reinstall it.

It did, but it shouldn't be necessary to disable/delete plugins to update them. 

At the very least, a useful error message would be helpful.

"Update package not available."

and

"The plugin is at the latest version."

are materially incorrect messages in this instance.
