Can you tell me how to change the height of the header please. All the answers seem to refer to logo height, but I'm using a background image instead of logo.

It does not matter if you use the logo or not, please change the height.

Hi, I've purchased 10 copies of your theme and am now using it for all my customers. Your support has always been excellent but the above reply is rather vague. It would be helpful if you would quite simply give me the code for changing the header height for your demo HR theme. I did do this successfully before after spending some time looking it up, but when I changed the search text using your translate function it reset all my settings and I've lost two days work. Most annoying !

There is no code for changing the header height. It is controlled by the padding on the menu elements which are controlled by the height of the logo and the logo padding.

Can you tell me how to change the search bar text ? I tried using translate and it reset all my header and CSS settings !

To change the search bar text please use theme options>translate. There is no other way.

Does it always reset all header and custom css settings ? Is there any way to avoid this ?

It is probably a server issue ( cheap hosting )
please go to your FTP, create php file with phpinfo() function inside. For more details about file creation, please visit https://mediatemple.net/community/products/dv/204643880/how-can-i-create-a-phpinfo.php-page.
