If you build a page with both "muffin builder" and "visual composer" I see that muffin builder is directly at the top.
is there a way to mix them up on 1 page?

Hi,
it is not possible to mix them but you can choose which builder should be first. And this can be done in Theme options > Getting started > Advanced section.
