When using VC, can I deactivate Muffin Builder on a page by page basis?

I find that for some pages, (using a predesigned template with Muffin Builder), I can get better control with VC.

Is there a way to switch off the display of the Muffin template, and work on the same page/post in VC, o do I have to replicate and make a VC version on a new page/post?

Hello Peter,
you can hide the builer globally only in theme options>global>advanced.
you can work with VC only but you will have to recreate those pages manually.

Ah... would be a great feature if you would allow a page-by-page option to deactivate the Muffin Builder.
