Featured image not resizes and crops

I have an issue and i want your help

I have this site and on the first page i get articles from several blog categories but....

featured image even if it has set dimensions in the Blog, Portfolio & Shop --> feature image....

when it comes to the first page stays just resized in the orginila format

Hello,
have you regenerated thumbnails?
Also if the original images are smaller then the desired dimensions then no action will take place.

image size bigger than the required: done

Still first page looks like a man with a stroke

Which images did you plan to change on your website, please show me on a screenshot. And also please attach a screenshot of the featured image size settings.

The width is set only to 400px and if your content is probably wider, this is why the images do not fill the width.

So if its smaller doesnt fit, if its widder doesnt resizes and crops.... Simply this function is not working....
