Portfolio section for one-page style

Hi...

I´m trying to figure out how to create a portfolio section for one-page layout style and use the jquery filtering feature, also specify a category to show only 8 boxes on the grid, to keep my one page not too long... Any idea of how can we achieve that?

Hi,

if you mean to use jQuery filtering with pagination at the same time, then it is technically not possible. Both features are completely not compatible.

OK. So what is the best practice/recommendation, in your opnion, to presents large a portfolio with one-page layout?

You can only show them all on one page (and then jQuery filtering will work) or also instead of of jQuery filtering you can use just pagination if you have so many portfolio items. Both possibilities are ok in our opinion.

I´m testing these two ways to insert a portfolio section on my one-page layout.

1) the pagination scheme is OK. (but I dont like it)

2) now I´m trying to test jquery filtering way, but I cant figure out how to insert this on a section. I need to insert a flat style portfolio section and setup to start showing a specific category.

2) Do you want to create something like we got on http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/portfolio?mfn-p=flat&mfn-iso ? This should be just plain portfolio page?

Yes. Something like that, but for a section on an one-page layout.

So if you want to do it for one page, then you can use any item you want. Just check how items looks like and choose the item you like most.

but I cant find the jquery option for this widgets on builder. Also, on my HOME page, portfolio section cant show the filters.

We forgot that you want jQuery. Sorry. So if you want portfolio page with jQuery filtering then none of those items have this feature. This filter option is reserved only for portfolio pages where you got only portfolio on page. This is how jQuery filtering works.
