Prevent "clients" links from opening in new window?

We are using our "clients" post types to link internally to various testimonials on our own website, how can we prevent the "Client URL" form opening in a new window?

Sorry but there is no option for that, you would have to change the theme files directly. Sadly we do not support such changes.

Could you at least point me in the direction of which php file i would need to change? We feel strongly enough that i am willing to change it each time we update the theme.

You do not need to change it each time, you can use the child theme.

You will find the file in:
betheme/functions/theme-shortcodes.php
function is named: sc_client
