Video not play on ipad or iphone

I have a video on a slider for my homepage. It auto plays on website from a laptop or desktop, but when I load the website from an ipad or iphone it just shows a blank screen.

yes I am used a .mp4 file

It works on my macbook pro (laptop) just not ipad or iphone

Ok thanks. One more question on this. It shows a white screen till you tap the screen and then it plays. It is set to auto play which it does on the laptop just not on mobile. Is this another setting to autoplay on mobile?

Oh I just read you need to mute it and make it inline.

I found the following work around:

<video playsinline autoplay loop muted style="min-width:100%; min-height:100%;" >

Where would I add this and how to do the same thing for my slider layer html 5 mp4 video?
