Post Masonry grid height customization

I added a post masonry grid to a page and the thumbnails are square. How do I change the height? I tried changing thumbnail size and running the regen thumbnail plugin but it didn't help.

You have to edit each individual post, and set the post format to 'vertical image', this way you can choose which images should be tall.
