How to hide logo only on home page?

As subject, we only wish to hide the logo on home page and would like to keep it on rest of other pages.

Also, how to change background color only on a specific page?

this css wil remove the logo from the home page only.

body.home .logo {
	display:none !important;
}

where do I add the css code to? we only want home page without logo

also, how to change color of menu bar, as we changed the background color of whole page, now only the menu and top logo area is in different color, please advise how to fix
