Multiple Sites with different Layout on one domain

I built websites for diferent people. Purpose is to create a Website where I present my service, and giving some example website with different design where customer can see different refereces.
In Summary, my domain (my personal website) i with i have different sites with different layouts.
Im not sure what would be the best way to create that kind of website.
Should I use a network? if yes can i use one Bethem lisence for the whole network?
Should I just use different Layouts?
or you have maybe other suggestion?
