Oh just, fyi, the template doesn't work with mailchimp plugin, i got the white screen of death and I couldn't even access wp-admin. I had to change the plugin name thru ftp.
Are you sure this is a mailchimp issue? There could be also the possibility that some other plugins is messing mailchimp. Try to disable all plugins and install mailchimp.
