edited November 2017 in Theme support
Greetings

I am experiencing problem for the first time with BeTheme.

When I visit a post at its single post view the style.css is not found and the layout looks very messy and hammy.

It is exclusively on the single post page and not anywhere else

P.S I am using the child theme

Please can I have some help as soon as possible thanks

  • Hi,
Please always attach a link so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost) then our help will be limited, you will have to contact us when the page is online. Also please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us the link.
It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot, for that use services like snag.gy or pasteboard.co
    thanks

  • I do not quite know what you mean by 'messy', when I disabled your custom css it helped a little. You can try that.

    The whole stylesheet is missing

what do you mean by custom css?
  • I mean the custom css that you entered in theme options>custom css&js>css
    Also please disable custom plugins.
There is no stylesheet missing, even if it would, it is not the main css file. Those are just colors from theme skin, if you select one.
  • I checked the files and there is no such file in betheme/css/skins/ but the theme is looking for it and I don't know why.

I disabled all plugins and refreshed the page. I also removed the custom css from the theme options.

No change the theme is not loading most of the theme's style only on the single-post template.

You can see in the picture I send you from pasteboard that visited links are purple and logo text link is also purple. In addition the whole theme is missing most of its styles.

It is clearly visible if you pay attention.

I changed the Theme Options => Color => General => Theme Skin to Custom Skin since I made changes in color options and it clearly states that in order for the custom changes to take place you need to select Custom skin and that is what I did.

It should be working and its clearly not working. I already installed 2 other BeTheme Themes to another 2 websites I build and I had no such problem. The single post template its not styled as expected and I have errors on my console. I am doing this for over 2 years and I can understand when something has a problem or not. I am a developer my self and this is my job.

If you cannot fix it just tell me. But know that there is a problem there 100%.
  • Send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason. Please don’t forget to explain your issue in the messeage very clearly.
  • Thank you I did that just now
