Builder data storage: encoded

Hi,

I need to encode content in the same way as "builder-data-storage: encoded" does.

The reason why is that I have to import content from a rails website into luganoeventi.ch, which uses betheme.

I have built a WP REST API client that can save posts, but I don't know how to encode content into wp_posts_meta.mfn-page-items.

If the algorithm is not too complex, would you mind pointing me to the right function in betheme's code?
