Child theme

hi

I wish to enable the child theme, please advise on the best way to do this,  i haven't made any source changes to the parent only just option changes presumably these will just transfer to the child or do i need to migrate these by importing them once activaed?

Hi,

please take a look at http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes where everything has been explained. Theme has been created in accordance to wordpress API and everything works as in this description.

Hi

I installed the child theme, however when i updated to version 7 recently i noticed the child theme didn't update from 1.2 to 1.4

I used the envato tools to update,  please advise

Child theme must be always updated separately.

You should update it standard way via FTP.
