Filter possibilities for category group

Dear BeTheme team,

I'm searching for a possibility to build in complex filter options for posts.

I use posts to upload job offers in our company. Since we have many job offers I need to find a filter option. I came up with the idea of two subcategories under the main category "job offer": 1) (what?) "area of work" and 2) (where?) "place / institution"
So, for example, one post would belong to these three categories: 1) "job offer" 2) "old-age care" 3) "Freiburg / Germany".

Then on my main page for job offers I need a filter possibilty on top, where users can define the area of work and the place and then see only the job offers that fit (that belong to the specified categories).

Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

our theme does not have functionality that will fit to your needs. Probably, you need to look for a 3rd party plugin or hire developer to make some custom work.

Hi Edith, sorry for the late answer. I found a solution with the plugin Search & Filter

Works quite nice, but needs some work and styling with css.
